A MATTER OF TRUST

Friendship is based on trust. What tells you that you can trust someone? Can one live without trusting life? Trust is a remedy against loneliness. Can one trust without having enough self-confidence? Trust is based on honesty. There is no trust without a fair amount of mistrust. Trust has to do with respect. To trust is a deed. Do you need to trust a person to really know him or do you need to know a person before you can trust him? The world seems to be dominated by distrust and fear; how can trust grow in such a world?
